• Leave Your Mark

"I woke up one morning thinking about wolves and realized that wolf packs function as families. Everyone has a role, and if  you act within the parameters of your role, the whole pack succeeds, and when that falls apart, so does the pack."
    - Jodi Picoult

"Throw me to the wolves & I'll return leading the pack"
- Unknown

Fear is the enemy of our dreams. It is what darkens our path and clouds our visions.

Chasing those dreams is far from easy. It takes hard work. It takes blood and sweat and tears. Entrepreneurs know there is no shortcut. They know, better than most, that the path is full of treacherous moments. They know the path is long and challenging. The secret that entrepreneurs know is that getting successfully up that path takes a team, and therein lies the true fear.

Entrepreneurs are not afraid of the hard work. They are not afraid to run down the path, because they can see the success at the end better than anyone else. What entrepreneurs fear is failure. They fear failure not for themselves, but for the team they take down the path with them.

That’s how leaders leave their mark. They turn their team into their pack, and they fiercely protect that pack. When moments of doubt or danger or uncertainty cast shadow upon the path, leaders discover their inner strength and unleash their wolf. Because in those moments of uncertainty, the team needs that leader. It’s those moments when entrepreneurs shine. Their unwavering excitement motivates. Their instincts provide guidance when the path ahead isn’t clear. Their loyalty to the team provides confidence when it’s needed most. If the world has taught us all anything, it’s that the best plans fall woefully short when it comes to the unpredictability of the modern world. Even the best plans need excitement, instincts, and loyalty to see them through.

My inner wolf helped shape my path so I could leave my mark - now I want to help you leave yours.
